FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take commissions?
This is something I've thought long and hard about over the past couple of years, and I'm sorry to report that I don't take commissions. So many factors have gone into this decision. The main one is the acknowledgement that my art controls me more than I control it... and I'd like keep it that way, because I've found that my best art is created when I have no plan, zero guidelines, and actually very little thought at all! See my Instagram post from January 14, 2022 for more on that topic.
Is there a way to get early access to see your upcoming work?
If you're in the market for fresh new art, please subscribe to my newsletter to be alerted about upcoming sales. I promise not to spam you, and you can unsubscribe at any time if you're no longer seeking artwork. I’ve also added a “Preview" section to this website, which shows images and details of upcoming work that will be for sale soon. And - I post previews on my Instagram during the time leading up to a new release, so please stay tuned!
Do you sell prints of your original work?
Yes I do, occasionally. My hope is to release a few new prints each year. I work with a best-in-class printer to produce truly beautiful, archival-quality giclee prints, individually hand-signed by me before shipment.
And what are Prayer Papers?
I like to occasionally offer papers for sale that don't just pretty your room or make you smile, but that also serve a greater purpose of helping others. I call them Prayer Papers, and 75% of the sale price is donated to a predetermined charity. I will always be sure to note the charitable organization along with the art in the preview - and/or shop - section of my website.
Another note - I don't normally discount my artwork, but Prayer Papers will get extra special treatment. I will reduce their price every week until they sell, to ensure that they can do what they're intended to do! No point in them sitting around my studio when they could be gracing your walls AND helping us share funds with those in need.
Thank you for joining me on this special project.
Where can I purchase your art?
Directly on this website! I also occasionally post pieces on my Instagram @katherinewirthart that never make it to my website - so be sure to follow along.
If you're local to Atlanta and would like to see a piece in person, reach out.
Do you have a Designer Discount program?
Yes! Set up an account to receive designer discounts and waive sales tax for resale purposes.
There are 2 easy steps:
Can I return a painting if I change my mind?
All artwork sales are final. If you have ANY hesitations before purchasing, just contact me. I'm always happy to send you additional pictures in different lighting, or even a video. I want you to be ecstatic with your purchase, so really, don't hesitate to reach out.
